Research into Interior design and my interior design ideas
The interior of a building augments its exterior and vice-versa, creating a feeling of flow and unity in the overall spirit of the building.
Therefore, in relation to its exterior I will explore the array of classical languages I chose as a point of inspiration, in my pursuit to make a personal and unique design for its interior.
Gothic/Neo-Gothic style interior influences:
Oxford University Museum of Natural History -
A strong and beautiful example of Victorian Neo-Gothic architecture,
with its glass and cast iron roofing, columns and capitals made from
decorative stone and iron each representing branches of tree species.
Art Deco/Art Nouveau style interior influences:
Building in Chicago known for its A five star hotel in Mexico known for its French
elegant Art Deco features and design. Art Nouveau style and breath taking Stained glass
canopy.

Located in California, this Neo-Mayan Art Deco skyscraper has

Beaux Art style interior influence:
Belgium - Pasaje Dorda Rocha - Located in Argentina -
This Beaux Art building holds the city's second Created by Henri Labrouste, a room which
largest art collection. creates a serene atmosphere with its nine ceramic light reflecting domes.
Musée d'Orsay -
Initially designed as a station by Beaux Art architect Victor Laloux but now
a museum with the largest impressionist art collection in the world. The design
of the building would be lauded and cause a mass influence in American railway design.
The interior and decor of the famous École des Beaux-Arts academy in Paris, France.
Renaissance style interior influences:
Library of the Marfa National Palace in Portugal -
Done in a Boroque style which is a descendant of Renaissance, and is liken to be more decorative.
